My life's backpack...

When I read the blog of "Life's Backpack", it made me think about what I carry in my own life's backpack.  What do I carry in my backpack?  Where do I begin?  My life has taken me on many paths.  But what I carry in my backpack are the things and people that are close and dear in my life: my family, my work, my friends, and myself.

My husband and I got married and were married for five years when we decided to start a family.  The first time that I got pregnant I had a miscarriage.  Then, the second time that I got pregnant I had complications and had my little girl early.  She only weighed 2lb. 3 oz.!  She is now 6 years old.  Since she has been born she has taught me many valuable lessons.  She has never given up in life or in difficult situations like starting school.  She is only 6 years old and she is already trying to figure out how to help the community.  She is amazing to me and there is no way that I am ever giving up on my little girl.

I also carry my work in my backpack.  I work in a preschool and am the teacher in the classroom I am in.  I am responsible for nine children ranging in age from 3 months to 2 years of age.  Every year is exciting to me because I get to see new faces and I make a commitment to making a difference in each child's life.  I hope that I accomplish this in some way or another.

Another thing I carry in my backpack is my health.  I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis when I was 18years old.  My life has been a challenge because I am in pain every day.  My daughter wants me to play with her, but sometimes it is impossible.  Work is very hard as well because I am on my knees most of the time, but I still do it.  I just think of my daughter and say to myself that I can do anything and everything for her.

These are the few things that I carry in my life's backpack.  I just want to say that my daughter will always be my motivation.
